发明名称 IMPROVING METHOD OF MAGNETIC CHARACTERISTIC OF AMORPHOUS MAGNETIC ALLOY BY ROLLING
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain alloys suitable for various kinds of transformers, inductors, magnetic recording heads, and the like by rolling amorphous magnetic alloys under a specified pressure rate at a low temperature, forming an axis which is readily magnetized in the direction perpendicular to the rolling direction, and giving ani- sotropic magnetism with desired magnitude. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous-alloy ribbon comprising Fe4.7 atomic%, Co70.3 atomic%, Si15 atomic% and B10 atomic%, which is manufactured by a rapid liquid-cooling method, is rolled under a specified pressure rate at a low temperature, and an alloy having an axis which is readily magnetized in the direction approximately perpendicular to the rolling direction is obtained. In this method, as shown by the numbers 7-14 in the Table, anisotropic energy Ku decreases initially with the changes in pressure rates from 3.2%-35.7%, but the absolute values of Ku increase with the increase of the pressure rates. Therefore, the alloy becomes suitable for an electromagnetic material which requires high permiability, and since it has excellent strength and elastic property, abrasion is not noticable when it is used as a magnetic head.
