The burner for an industrial furnace is supplied with preheated air. The cold combustion air is mixed with the gas fuel and supplied at constant flow, but the mixture is maintained beyond the ignition point. The mixture and cold combustion air are admitted independently into the burner. The burner has a bolted on cylindrical combustion chamber with a side air inlet to the burner body. The fuel injector has two inlets - one for the hot fuel and one for the cold primary air. |
