PURPOSE:Title yarn that has differences in diameter and dyeability along the fiber axis and intermittently thick parts whose cross section is inflexed, thus giving spun-like touch and elegant luster. CONSTITUTION:Said yarn has the completely drawn parts a and unsufficiently drawn parts b. The part a is lightly dyed and b is deeply, thus giving, as a whole, grandrelle or pepper-and-salt patterns. When the thickness ratio of the thicker parts to the thinner parts in the total multifilament yarns is 1.2-1.8, the alkali treatment gives the b parts with no fragileness because of its inflexed cross section, thus becoming-practically applicable. The luster is elegant and mild and the woven or knitted fabrics have high resilience and wrinkle prevention because of its inflexed cross section as well as high draping property. Partially uneven thickness just like natural or spun yarns is given to the woven and knitted fabrics. |
