PURPOSE:To obtain an economical radar reflector by giving non-directivity to reflecting characteristics by turning a radio reflector. CONSTITUTION:Two corner type radar reflectors, obtained by combining flat plates with a metal surface crossing at right angles, are symmetrically joined together back to back and at their center, a vertical rotation axis is provided to obtain right-angled equilateral triangle A and right-angled equilateral fan shape B. The rotation axis is pivoted on a bearing and connected to separately-provided power or turned by wind force. Since bodies in those shapes form a two-blade a windmill, rotations are easily realized by even a gentle wind. In addition, spherical dielectric radar reflector D of strong reflecting characteristics provided with a rotation axis is also recommendable. Consequently, the effect similar to the radial arrangement of an infinite number of fixed radar reflectors can be displayed and easy and economical manufacture is realized. |
