A display stand, comprising at least three upright post-like vertical supports (1, 1', 1'') and hanger rods (2, 2', 2'') mounted in holes 3 spaced apart in the vertical supports and extending at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the vertical supports. The hanger rods mounted in appropriate holes of the vertical supports serve to connect and mutually brace the vertical supports and to form a free-standing display stand.
