<p>Drainage apertures formed on centrifuge bowl by inserting wavy edged base into lip of cup which forms the sides of the bowl. The points of contact are fixed pref. by adhesion but also by screwing, welding etc. The construction allows completely moulded fabrication, thus obviating need to cut apertures and thus reduce the strength of the bowl. Both base and sides are of glass fibre reinforced plastic laminate construction while base has also metal star shaped hub upon which the laminate is built and to which the shaft is fixed.</p>
