1471897 Mono- and di-esters of dihydroxybenzenesulphonic acid LABORATORIOS DEL DR ESTEVE SA 5 Sept 1974 [11 Sept 1973] 38895/74 Addition to 1418358 Heading C2C The invention comprises the following compounds:- morpholine, piperazine and piperidine 2,5 - dihydroxybenzenesulphonate monotosylates, diethylamine and sodium 2,5- dihydroxybenzenesulphonate, dibenzoates, morpholine, piperazine and piperidine 2,5- dihydroxybenzenesulphonate dibenzoates and piperazine bis-(2,5-dihydroxybenzenesulphonate monotosylate) and piperazine bis-(2,5-dihydroxybenzenesulphonate dibenzoate). They are made by reacting pyridine 2,5-dihydroxybenzenesulphonate monotosylate or dibenzoate with the appropriate base. Pharmaceutical preparations having hypolipemic action contain the said compound(s) as active ingredient. Administration is, e.g. orally.
