When hinged covers on the filling ports are swung open, the filling cycle starts and moisture is expelled from the container by a protector gas blown in at the top and bottom of the container. When the container is moisture free, a conveyor system is switched on to carry material from a storage silo. If any moisture is detected, automatically, in the gas supply, filling is switched off and a drain trap opened until suitable conditions are restored.
