PURPOSE:To achieve the prevention of the occurrence of deviation in transfer position and paper jam by providing paper feed member detecting means between feed means such as rollers and other feed means and controlling member feed by the member detection signals thereof. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 35-37, 40 are provided between the first feed means for feeding sheet members to the path and the second feed means for feeding the members fed to the image-forming region and the operation of the feed means is once stopped by the detection signals of said sensors, whereby the operation of the re-feed of the members is controlled. Hence, even if the feed means are multiple, the occurrence of jam is prevented by the material of the members and sliding, etc. of the feed means per se and the transfer images may be formed. In addition, the paper jam caused by the misfeed and oblique feeding of the members may be prevented before it occurs. |
