PURPOSE:A toilet napkin having high cleaning effect even without using a cleansing cream, obtained by impregnating a sheet of non-woven cloth manufactured by dry process, with a polymer latex, a surface active agnet, and a vegetable oil. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of a non-woven cloth (e.g. non-woven rayon cloth) having a specific areal density of >=50g/m<2> and composed mainly of cellulosic fibers of <=3 deniers and free of binders, is impregnated with a mixture of (A) styrene-butadiene copolymer latex, a carboxyl-modified styrene-butadiene copolymer latex, a polyvinyl acetate latex, or a ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer latex, (B) 5-30wt%, based on the solid content of the mixture, of a surface active agent, and (C) 1- 20wt%, based on the solid content of the mixture, of a vegetable oil, and dried to obtain the objective napkin. It is moistened with water or toilet water, squeezed lightly, and used to wipe the skin. |
