PURPOSE:To secure the steady and assured elimination of the pilot signal by utilizing the fact that the phase shift is caused between the input and the output and before and after the sample holding. CONSTITUTION:The sample holding is given to the odd-ordered peak value of stereo composite signal SC via sampling signal (a) of 38kHz synchronizing with the pilot signal as well as to the even-ordered peak value via sampling signal (b) respectively to obtain waveforms AL and AR. Then composite signal SC is added to these waveforms to obtain waveforms BL and BR. The sample holding is given to waveforms BL and BR via the sampling signals (c) and (d) delivered right before generation of signals (a) and (b) to obtain waveforms CL and CR. These waveforms are then averaged to secure the demodulation for signals L and R with the pilot signal eliminated. |
