<p>The vertical drawing press has side vertical members with two vertical guide strips each side, secured in position accurately by screws. The sheet holding slide which is below the drawing slide is much shorter than the latter, and moved independently, guided by the same strips. Seen in plan view, adjustment of the guide strips takes place through these slides. First the upper strips are adjusted forwards, then the slide members adjusted for play with the drawing ram. Afterwards the two slide strips at right angles are adjusted for the sheet holding slide.</p> |
