An opening provided in a partition is controlled by a device comprising a frame (3) equipped with doors (4, 5). This frame is associated with a base (6) having a movable floor (7). When an animal, for which the passage is provided, steps onto the floor (7), it actuates an electrical contact which triggers the start-up of a mechanism for openings the doors (4, 5). When the animal steps off the floor (7), the electrical contact causes these doors to close. The frame (3) and the base (6) are fixed to each other by screws and can be separated from each other for storage and transport. <IMAGE>
