For each adaptation an interchangeable roller is fitted into the machine complete with its own bearings which locate in fixed cradles. Each roller is coupled to a power drive by projecting pegs. Each roller cooperates with the same common elements, i.e. a blade in a holder, a scraping comb on pivot mounting and a set of adjustable, rotary cleaning brushes.
