Dual circuit hydraulic motorcycle brake system - has foot and hand brake and solenoid valve controlled antilock protection

The hydraulic brake system, partic. dual-circuit (I, II) system, is intended for a motorcycle. It comprises a foot operated (4) master cylinder (2), a hydraulic brake cylinder (16, 17) for each wheel, a hand brake (27), and anti-lock protection system. These means are arranged as twin-circuit controls and contain corresponding multi-way valves (18, 19 or 18', 19') while the hand brake acts on one circuit only, pref. the front wheel brake circuit (I). The valves may be 2/2 or 3/3-way solenoid valves of which one (18 or 18') pref. that in the front wheel circuit (I), at the same time controls the pressure prod. by the hand brake.
