<p>The bench or arm-chair type seat is particularly designed for use in public places such as cafes, and consists of a upholstered back-rest and seat part which are joined firmly to a frame but which can easily be detached from it, without the use of specialised tools by almost invisible fastenings. The frame comprises legs a seat frame, and two supporting uprights (5) for hte back rest. The under side of the seat has positioning wedges for keeping it horizontal. The back rest has two sleeves into which ift the uprights of the frame. The sleeves and uprights have holes in at right angles to the back surface of the backrest, into which a smooth pin fits.</p> |
