The braking arrangement for a skate-board (1) has a support (4) screwed to the board (2), an operating rod (5) and pivot, a helicoidal return spring and a flat locking bolt on the support for carrying. the board has two protrusions forming bearings, a slot for the operating rod and four fixing holes. The operating rod end is of hardened steel, welded on and presses on the ground to give a braking effect. The flat bolt has an oblong hole to allow it to move. It is fixed to the support by a screw.
