摘要 The smoke detector has a radiation source with a radiation characteristic in the shape of a tapered ring and a radiation sensor which is arranged in the axis of the tapered ring and receives the radiation dispersed onto smoke particles in the radiation area in the shape of a tapered ring, and evaluates the said radiation in order to output signals. In order to achieve a radiation characteristic in the shape of a tapered ring, a radiation-emitting element (6) is arranged inside a conic-section rotation face (3), the axis of the conic section being arranged at an angle with respect to the axis of rotation or axis of the cone or, if the generatrix is a conical surface, its centre point is arranged outside the axis of rotation. The radiation which is emitted by the radiation-emitting element (6) laterally onto the rotation surface (3) is concentrated into the desired zone (K) which is in the shape of a tapered ring in conjunction with a surface (4) which surrounds the axis in an annular shape and is also constructed as a conic-section rotation surface with an oblique axis. Additionally, the radiation which is output forwards by the radiation-emitting element (6) in the direction of the axis of the cone is interrupted by a further surface (5) which is also constructed as a conic-section rotation face which has an oblique axis or is eccentric, and is concentrated into the same zone (K), in the shape of a tapered ring, as the radiation passing via the reflector (3). The utilisation of the radiation and the efficiency of the smoke detector are thus improved. The smoke detector is provided in particular for warning of fires. <IMAGE>
