The dispensing device for delivering equal portions of a doughy or pasty substance has an upper body with a horizontal screw (1) inside, delivering the substance (2) to a vertical outlet opening into the chamber (4) of another body below. This lower body contains a dispensing cylinder (5) which rotates about a horizontal axis. At each end of the cylinder is a hole (11, 12) forming two chambers for two pistons, one (12) moving inwards as the other (11) moves outwards. The outlet (14) of the first chamber faces downwards when the outlet (13) of the second chamber faces upwards. This allows the first chamber to discharge downwards, while the second chamber receives its charge from the dispensing chamber (4) above.
