<p>Telescopic grandstand for gymnasia and sports arenas consists of rows of benches and gangways which are supported by uprights on base beams. Each base beam has at the contact area with the floor an antifriction lining, made of a suitable plastic such as Teflon (RTM), pref. the lining is profiled with projections. The result is a lower weight, less stress on the floor and less structural expenditure, compared with the conventional roller support for telescopic grandstands.</p> |
