A fabricated component (1) consists of a flat panel (2). It incorporates a stiffener (3) attached to it by spot-welds (4). There are several four-sided nuts (6), for the attachment of the components (1) to another part (11). These four-sided nuts are trapped before welding inside recesses formed in the stiffener (3). The recesses are pressed to the shape of the nuts (6), thus preventing them from turning. The assembly of the two components using bolts (12) is thus simplified.
