<p>The lateral stacker truck is used by a driver who may have to adopt a standing or sitting position according to visibility requirements. There are two sets of controls to allow driving from either position. The vehicle has an 'U'-shaped frame with the control cab mounted on crossbeams. The cab has four uprights which may support a roof. There is a seat in the cab and an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal mounted in front of it, on the floor. There is also a steering column with a steering wheel. There is sufficient space by the seat to allow the driver to stand. The steering column can swivel to a vertical position and there are hand controls for accelerator and brake.</p> |
