<p>A device, controlling the relative vertical displacements of the bridge (1) and of the feet (2) of a sea platform, comprises on one hand toothed-racks (31, 32) cut out in pillars (3) fixed to the feet and on the other hand locomotor units (5) which comprise each a frame (51) fitted with gears (55) rotatingly driven by motors (57, 58) and meshing with said toothedracks, and substantially characterized in that each frame of locomotor unit is attached by a joint (41) to a coupling rod (4) which extends along the pillar and is connected by a joint (42) to the bridge and associated to balancing means (81, 82, 83) of the reverse torque generated by the effort transmitted by said coupling rod.
