Overflow cut=out for membrane pulsators - has cut-off device in form of hinged flap or plate or ball-valve

The over-flow cut-out is for alternating stroke membrane pulsators with phase shift. It consists of a simple and a combined switch unit. Between the vacuum chambers (4, 5) of the switch units (2, 3) is a cut-off device (8) which closes in the direction of the simple to the combined switch unit. The cut-off device (8) can be a hinged flap, or a plate-, ball-, or a cone valve. The modified system produces a smoother curve of pressure plotted against time than known pulsator systems; the usual dip in the high pressure part of the curve is suppressed.
