<p>The boiler has a burner chamber with a tangential burner, the combustion gases being turbulent. The burner chamber is surrounded by a water jacket with supply and outlet lines positioned so that the water circulation through the jacket is in the opposite direction to the motion of the combustion gases. The latter may circulate in an anti-clockwise direction while the water in the jacket circulates in a clockwise direction. Pref. the water jacket has an upper part surrounding a ribbed rube and a lower part surrounding the burner or combustion gas circulation chamber, its bottom edge fitting directly into a base plate. The latter has a heat-insulating mat beneath the burner chamber and an outer insulating casing encloses the entire boiler.</p> |
