Gasification of fluids esp. oxygenation of activating tank - by injecting air-sewage mixture into propeller pump suction

The fluid-gas-mixt. projection by an injector nozzle is guided to the suction section of a large propeller pump, in a process for delivering atmospheric oxygne, oxygen-enriched air or pure oxygen into fluids, and esp. into the activating tanks of clarifying plants with a predominantly horizontal flow. Used for the operation of sewage purifying plants in which the delivery of oxygen and the rotation of the contents of the tank are separates from each other. The arrangement ensures that the delivery from the injector is fed into the suction zone of the propeller pump(s), so that the water with an excessive amt. of oxygen is brought immediately into intimate contact with the water which is deficient in oxygen. This method achieves an efficiency of utilisation of the oxygen equal almost to 100%. The size of the injector nozzles is chosen so that stoppage by fibrous matter, etc. is not possible.
