Double sleeve filter unit to remove dust from gases - having rotating suction pipe with nozzles below the sleeve inlet to clean sleeves

Filter unit consists of double wall cylindrical sleeves, the dirty gas being blown up the annular space between the two sleeves. The sleeves are firmly supported at the top and the inner sleeve has a spring mounting at the base. To clean them, a suction pipe is mounted below the inlets on a rotating flange coupling. This rotates around and subjects all the sleeves in turn to suction and thereby a reverse gas pulse. This discharges the dust and allows it to flow over to a cyclone collector. Coarse material is removed from the base. Used for removing dust from gas streams. Arrangement gives a simpler and more reliable system than shaker or reverse pulse systems.
