<p>Vehicle number plates are produced from a flat plate with a film applied on one side, using a mounted reel of film which has an adhesive coating on one side with tear-off carrier film a cutter, and a device to press a length of film on to a flat plate. The parting device for the carrier film and the cutter are adjacent on the circumference of a driven roller which has perforations evacuated from inside. Mechanised process gives no problems with shrinkage of stripped film and no film wastage. No slippage of film occurs.</p> |
