<p>The ramp bridge consists of a bridge plate pivot supported about a horizontal axis to the ramp at its ramp end with an extension lip hinged at its free end which can be flipped from a vertical, out-of-use position into a stop-limited operational position in the plane of the bridge plate to support its free end on the loading surface to be used. To cater for deflections in the horizontal alignment of the loading surface, the lip has individual extension segments with limited pivotability. There is a single pivot axis (6) held at the free end (2) of the bridge plate (1) about which the extension lip (5) can be flipped as a whole, while the individual extension segments (2) can also be pivoted about it.</p> |
