PURPOSE:To obtain particle having identical property to sounding sand in such a way that particle composed of more than 80% of quartz ia mixed and elaborately polished under existence of polishing material which has lower rigidity than quartz and water before flushing and drying. CONSTITUTION:300-500g of natural quartz sand that is used for glass raw material is flushed with water for removing dust, which is added 20-40g of iron oxide red and approximately 600-1000cc and enclosed in a vessel 1. This vessel 1 is loaded on parallel columnar pillars 2, 3 which are rotated with a motor rotating said vessel 1, and said quartz sand is mixed and elaborately polished. Then, the content in the vessel 1 is flushed only taking out quartz sand that is dried to obtain articial sounding sand composed of quartz sand. |
