PURPOSE:To advance the electro-chemical of a linear electrode, removing the electrolytic film generated on the surface of the worked piece by making wheel grains on the surface of the linear electrode. CONSTITUTION:Preset tension is applied between the pulley 2 and 3 for the linear electrode 1 which is connected annularly. The linear electrode 1 rotates clockwise. The worked piece 4 is arranged so as to move at a right angle to the linear electrode 1. The DC voltage from the DC power supply 5 is applied to the worked piece 4 as the positive electrode and to the linear electrode 1 as the negative electrode through the pulley 2, respectively. Electrolyte is supplied between the linear electrode 1 and the worked piece 4. Wheel grains intermittently adhere on the surface of the linear electrode 1. |
