<p>PURPOSE:To improve the safety of works being done while a car stops running, by locating an electromagnetic valve between a brake pedal and a power doubling device, and by braking all wheels so that the same condition as occurs as a result of the brake pedal being stepped on can be maintained even for the duration of parking. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic valve 8, which closes with electricity charged, is located at a compressed air passage 7 running from a brake valve 3 to a power doubling device 4. The electromagnetic valve 8 is constituted such that an operating switch 9, a brake lock switch 10, and a side brake switch 11 are connected together in series, the valve 8 being closed when the three switches are simultaneously operated. In the case of operations being performed while a car stops running, the switch 11 is closed by pulling a parking brake in the condition that a brake pedal 3 is stepped on, the switch 10 being then closed by operating a brake lock. Since an operating switch has already been closed, the electromagnetic valve 8 is closed, an air pressure, as a result, remaining in a piping 7b, whereby all wheels are maintained in a braked condition.</p> |
