<p>A substance for the treatment of liver damage having anti-hepatoxic, anti-inflammatory and anti-lipaemic activity is prepd from a broth made from mammalian liver inoculated with Pseudomonas strain pref. P. syringae or P. fluoreszenz. The subst. when undergoing electrophoresis in alkaline buffer migrates to the negative pole. It is eluted from an ion exchange column formed from cross-linked dextrans having diethylaminoaceto functional gps. in fractions between polarities 0.35 and 0.60 and 275-350 ml solvent.</p> |
