PURPOSE:To accurately detect the absolute position of a moving article by using a transmitting inductive loop and a transmitting frequency and carrying a receiving loop antenna on the moving article. CONSTITUTION:Twin-lead type transmitting loop of a ground unit in parallel with a runway is elevationally crossed in each section. The phase of potential induced in a standard phase loop antenna 51 carried on a moving article and having a winding in a horizontal plane is constant regardless of the position of the moving article, and the phase of the voltage induced in receiving loop antennas 52, 53 having windings in a vertical plane is inverted in every section. When the outputs from amplifiers 641-643 are multiplied by multipliers 672, 673, positive or negative DC voltage can be obtained according to the section of the antennas 52, 53. A data processor 670 receives the output signals from level discrimiantors 661-663 and processes them as required, and produces output signals to output termianls 701-704, respectively. |
