PURPOSE:To make it possible to regenerate a carrier correctly without waiting for arrival of a next phase-deciding pattern by adding a phase skip correction circuit and then by immediately detecting and correcting a phase skip if occurring. CONSTITUTION:Gate 100 is controlled by the output of gate 102 and if a phase skip occurs to the output of D-FF92, an input to tuner circuit 94 is cut off and circuit 94 stays stored with the correct phase of a carrier for a while even after the cut- off operation. During this period, the output phase of FF92 is corrected into the correct phase and the output is supplied again from gate 100 to circuit 94, so that the carrier in correct phase can continuously be outputted from limiter 95. This output and the output phase of FF92 are supplied to gate 103 to detect the phase skip occurring. Therefore, once a signal of logic ''0'' indicating the dissidence of the phase is outputted from gate 103, gate 100 is immediately controlled through time-constant circuit 98 and gate 102 to cut off the output, thereby inhibiting a carrier in incorrect phase from being inputted to circuit 94. |
