A primary aliphatic hydrocarbon amino alkylene-substituted asparagine represented by the formula: <IMAGE> in which R is a primary aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having from about 6 to 30 carbon atoms, R' is hydrogen or a methyl radical is provided and a motor fuel composition containing same.
