<p>Non woven material has the props (1) 7x155 spaced apart bonding points per cm2, (2) the area of the spaced apart bonding points, measured as a normal projection, lying between 6 x 10-5 and 6 x 103 cm2 (3) the areas being the bonding points being essentially unbonded, (4) the bonded area forming 1-30% of the total area, (5) the surfaces of the bonded points being pressed under the surface of the unbonded area, (6) the thickness of the unbonded areas, (7) the wt. of the material being 10-40 g/m2 and (8) the material consisting of a uniform fleece of continuous polyamide multicomponent filament filaments bonded together b an adhesive which is derived from at least one, but not all of the components of the filaments. Material has low wt. attractive appearance and handle with good resistance to abrasion and tear.</p> |
