PURPOSE:To secure an easy identification between the high-luminance and normal- luminance displays through a low-cost display unit by deciding the presence or absence of the luminance control information in one frame via the information stored in the mrmory and then giving the high-luminance display only for the effective period. CONSTITUTION:The display data given from the computer is memorized in the fixed address of refresh memory 2 via interface part 1. The contents of memory 2 are read out in sequence in accordance with the display and then supplied to pattern generator part 3 for the pattern conversion to be displayed at display unit 5. In case the luminance control information exists in the information given from memory 2, the high-luminance display is given at luminance control part 4 in case the absence of the luminance control information is decided in one frame by the FF which detects and memorizes the luminance information. While in case the luminance information exists, the high-luminance display is given to the luminance control information only for the effective period. And the normal-luminance display is given to others. In such way, an easy identification can be secured between the high- luminance and the normal-luminance displays through a low-cost display unit. |
