PURPOSE:To stabilize the quantity of air in a band servo relasing chamber at a certain level for stabilizing the timing of relasing pressure and eliminate dispersion of impact caused by changing the speed, by making a through hole equipped with a one-way valve for communication with atmospheric air in the chamber. CONSTITUTION:When oil pressure is applied to an applying chamber 9 at the time of fastening a brake band, a servopiston 2 and piston stem 4 solidly fixed to the piston are elevated and a working end 7 of the steam 4 lifts a band strut at an end of a brake band (not shown in the figure) in a power train chamner 8, the other end being fixed to a transmission case 1. Thus the band brake fixes a front clutch drum. In this case, a one-way valve 13 is set to a through hole 12 made on the case 1 for filling a releasing chamber 10 with air by opening the valve 13, when there is no working pressure in the chamber 10 at the time of functioning the brake band. |
