The invention comprises N-(3,5-bis-trifluoromethyl-phenyl) anthranilic acid and its salts with inorganic and organic bases, which may be obtained by condensing a o-halogenobenzoic acid or a salt thereof with 3,5-bis-trifluoromethylaniline and optionally converting the salt obtained into the free acid or into another salt. Therapeutic preparations for the treatment of rheumatic, arthritic and other inflammatory diseases, comprise N-(3,5-bis-trifluoromethylphenyl) anthranilic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof with an inorganic or organic base, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier, in forms suitable for oral, rectal or parenteral administration. |
