The invention relates to a quick-acting coupling provided with a valve for releasable connection of a source of a pressure medium to a compartment intended for receiving the pressure medium in question. The device according to the invention consists of a sleeve-shaped insertion part 3 and a receiving part 2 provided with a bore adjusted to the outer diameter of the insertion part. The insertion part, which is intended for being connected to the pressure medium source, incorporates into it an axially displaceable valve body 8 having a pressing portion which can be reached from the free end of the insertion part. The receiving part further has a manually actuatable pressing means 9, abuttable against the pressing portion of the valve body and which at actuation provides an axial displacement of the valve body in the counterflow direction, against the action of the pressure from the source of a pressure medium for opening of said communication between the pressure medium source and the pressure medium receiving compartment. <IMAGE> |
