PURPOSE:To judge the propriety of pattern quickly with a simple unit, by suitably sectioning binary picture, calculating the ratio of area for white and black at each section and comparing the ratio with normal ratio. CONSTITUTION:The stamped surface 1 of electronic component 1 to be judged is picked up with the TV camera 3 with good resolution, it is binarized into white and black level at the converter 4 and sectioned into an arbitrary number of video elements, which are fetched in the memory of the computer 5 as the pattern information for one screen's share. The picture 6 of this pattern information is sectioned further into smaller section 7, which is read out from the memory with the computer 7 for each section to count the black and white level video elements and to calculate the ratio of area. Further, it is compared with the ratio of area with normal pattern to discriminate the propriety of pattern each section and to output the discrimination signal 8 for the propriety of the entire section. With this constitution, a microcomputer can be used as the computer and the propriety of pattern can quickly be judged with inexpensive unit. |
