<p>1519126 Lipases DOW CHEMICAL CO 18 May 1977 [1 June 1976] 20985/77 Heading C3H A composition useful for the hydrolysis of a glycerol ester in an aqueous medium comprises a mixture of from 15-95 units of Rhizopus arrhigus lipase and from 5-85 units of Candida cylindnacea lipase per 100 units of lipase present. If desired other enzymes which enhance the synergistic effect may also be present. Examples describe the hydrolysis of triglycerides and the subsequent estimation of the glycerol present in the serum by a colourincident method.</p>
