Military vehicle warning device responsive to IR and laser beams - with directional display indicating location of radiation source by using azimuth and elevation sensors

The warning device for laser and/or infra red radiation from an enemy weapon sightng system, comprises a circular housing with laser radiation sensors arranged in a ring around its vertical axis and with a central infra red radiation sensor. The sensors are coupled to an evaluation circuit and a directional display rosette having two concentric annular scales for indicating the direction of the received laser and IR radiation. A laser elevation sensor is also incorported, having several detectors corresponding to a number of azimuths and at least two differing elevation ranges, this sensor coupled to the evaluation circuit together with the laser and infra red sensors.
