<p>PURPOSE:To let a tape run stably by providing a tape guide, which guides out a tape in a fixed reel, with a function of specifying a run position in a tape width direction. CONSTITUTION:Tape 13, wound around fixed reel 12, is supported from its lower part by three lower rollers 14, guided by guide 15 to the reel inside and made in slide contact with magnetic recording and reproducing head 17 between upper and lower specification guides 16; and it is led to a driving mechanism composed of capstan 18 and pinch roller 19 to form sagging tape 13', which is guided by guides 20 and 21 jumping over the reel and then wound around the tape wind part. To specify the run position in the tape width direction, guides 20 and 21 are provided with flanges at one part of guide 20 and the whole length-direction part of guide 21. Consequently, a shift in tape run position, and the run-out and holding-up of the running tape due to variation in sag are suppressed to stabilize the run of the tape.</p> |
