The intermediate optical system, between the facing ends (2, 2') of the two light conductors, comprises two hollow mirrors (3, 3') each having a main and a secondary reflector aligned with a common axis. Each light conductor end (2, 2') lies along this axis and is directly coupled with the main reflector of one or other mirror (3, 3'). The beam input and output faces of the two mirrors (3, 3') are coupled together back to back. Each mirror (3, 3') may comprise a block of acrylic, silica or quartz glass with curred main and secondary reflective faces centred on the common axis, the planar beam input and output faces lying in a plane perpendicular to the latter.
|
