PURPOSE:To effect the safety confirmation operation efficiently by a system wherein one of railway vehicles traveling on rails in parallel is an attended vehicle, the other is an unattended vehicle, and a traveling control signal is transmitted from the attended vehicle to radio-control the unattended vehicle. CONSTITUTION:When traveling vehicles A and B for the safety confirmation of rails, the vehicle A serves as an attended vehicle and the vehicle B serves as an unattended vehicle. A vehicle control signal is transmitted from a transmitter 1 on the attended vehicle A to a receiver 2 on the unattended vehicle B to operate the unattended vehicle B synchronously with the attended vehicle A. In addition, the vehicle A emits light from a floodlight projector a-1 thereon to a detector b-1 on the vehicle B to effect the correction control when the positions of vehicles A and B are shifted to each other. Thus, it is possible to control one of the vehicles traveling in parallel without a operator and the efficiency of the safety confirmation operation can be improved. |
