PURPOSE:To soften a property of the paste without changing a density of the paste, and improve a fluidity, and make the promotion of facilitation and equalization of the filling work to the lattice, by mixing a silicic anhydride into the paste. CONSTITUTION:For the paste to be filled into the plate for lead storage battery, is used a material kneaded with a silicic anhydride (H2O less than 80%, SiO2 20-21%) added to the coarse hard paste having conventionally the same density. Amount of this addition is made to 0.3-0.5%. It is preferable for the anode plate paste to be applied addition diluted to a specific gravity of 1.050-1.120, and for the cathode plate paste to be applied addition of a specific gravity of 1.100-1.160 the same as provided in the silicic anhydride. |
