<p>The arms on the awning sunblind are hinged to wall-fixed retainer pieces and attached to a drop rod or rail. The roll-up canvas is attached to the latter, with roll seated on a spindle with ends rotatably mounted in bearings, and with turning gear. The canvas has weatherproof covering on the upper side, where it joins the drop rod (1), in an area passing through canvas width. The length of this area, along its length, is at least as great as that of the area in which the canvas is exposed in the fully wound-up position. The cover may be provided by a coating (6) of thin flexible foil.</p> |
