A fuel supply interrupter for a motor vehicle is disclosed for installation with the interrupter means closing a portion of the fuel line and key operable locking means located at a wall of the engine compartment remote from the interrupter means. In embodiments a cam housing is coupled into the piping of the fuel line. Internally of the cam housing a portion of the flexible fuel line is arranged between pipe couplings and cam means, which are actuated by a flexible shaft, are operable to compress the flexible fuel line for interruption of the fuel supply. The flexible shaft is operated by means of the key operable locking means. Security sleeve means connect the shaft with the lock means. The cam means displaces a cam follower and also acts to close electrical contacts in the ignition circuit for preventing ignition when the fuel is interrupted. <IMAGE>
